It's out there - everywhere! Sex on the Internet! And as it's grown it has taken on many different forms and shapes and sizes. So much so that if the sight of a guy having sex with a robot while it does the housework is YOUR idea of a good time in cyberspace then chances are you'll be able to find a few free sites and a paysite devoted to just that.
Every taste and sexual preference is catered for in full today on the Internet and if it's not, it soon will be as entrepreneurs rush in to fill every gap in the market with their AVS and page sites. And the surfers are lapping it all up. I mean there are a LOT of them! No-one actually knows how many surfers there ARE on the Internet but if you have a stats or counter program operating on your sites at the moment - you'll be noticing that traffic is on the 'up' and the net is a very busy place when it comes to Adult Entertainment.

And the sheer number of sponsors out there today is STAGERRING. I can't remember a time when there were THIS many! There are sponsors for every kind of fetish or niche site you can think of - all waiting with cash in hand for YOU to start sending traffic to their pay sites. It's very exciting in my book…
I guess that under the bracket of 'porn' there are a million sub-categories from the weird and wonderful to the plain odd but one thing is for certain… If you are limiting yourself to a blond girl humping a guy with a chiseled chin and a body builder physique, then you are going to miss out big-time on some of the millions of dollars being banded around in the fetish and niche arenas.
I must say that the Internet has really opened my mind about the different kinds of things that surfers are looking for and if you have been looking at any site that allows you to see the latest results on what those porn fans are hunting for you'll know what I mean. Feet, fat, pregnant, hairy, peeing, rubber fetish, spanking, out door are all things that surfers are looking for and there are a ZILLION more folks. Even if you are not into a particular area - don't limit yourself by not at least thinking about promoting it.
If it's legal and there is a demand for it then it's time to look at putting some of those banners on your sites or even building some feeder sites to those sponsors we all love so much :-)

So the question emerges - how DO you decide which of these wonderful areas you are going to promote and where does someone new to this world of computerized erotica start?
One way is to start with what you don't want to promote. This will obviously rule out all of the illegal and sick stuff but I don't need to write that… Next you will have to think about your own likes and dislikes. I mean if the thought of having a banner on one of your free sites to a paysite that features women peeing on each other makes you feel ill or churns your stomach then look elsewhere! Some people will hate the thought of looking at feet all day and that's up to them. So think about what you DO NOT want your sites to be about and start making your list.
Next up you basically need to think about what turns YOU on. Come on now, no one is going to laugh or even find out but if there is something that really does it sexually for you then it's a darn fine idea to promote that kind of sponsor. It might be fat girls, mature women or foot fetish but whatever it is it's going to give you a natural advantage over your competition as you'll be able to sell to the surfer from THEIR point of view… very useful indeed.

OK so you're not turned on in the least bit my pornography and you'd rather watch repeats on TV than download Pamela Anderson pictures all night. NO problem! I mean it's going to be a little harder because you'll have to do a little role playing when you build the sites but it will work out fine!
One thing that everyone needs to do too would be to have a really good look at all the niche and fetish areas of the Adult Entertainment business and start trying out the different sponsors and different programs. If you are totally unsure of where your talents lie and what area you should be concentrating on then you're going to have to try all the 'possibles' out to find out which ones will naturally convert best for you.
It's really odd but there are certain areas that convert better for certain webmasters. I mean I have friends who can get people to sign-up at a mature sponsor but never on lesbian sites and I have buddies who can't convert foot fetish for love nor money - when I find that area quite easy! So try them all and watch for results…

One final tip today is to take everything with a pinch of salt and don't believe everything you hear and read. People won't deliberately set out to give you bum steers but they'll tell you what is working for THEM. Now, as you'll know if you are a regular here at Rookie Class, what works for one guy might not be the best thing for you to do. Someone might tell you - "USE lesbian sponsors - it's the way to go!!!" and you'll not be able to covert them at all… So be aware that here are certain sponsors that WILL work for you.
