Getting Listed: At the TGPs

TGPs are a huge source of traffic. If they are a part of your adult webmaster plan, then the first step is actually getting listed. Getting listed at the TGPs is becoming increasingly difficult because there's a lot of competition, rule-breakers, and cheaters causing backlog at the TGPs. Here are some of the basic rules and guidelines that should help you get your gallery listed.

DO:

	Check regularly for updates to the recip graphic you're using.
	Use a real email address.
	Use 16 pictures on the gallery.
	Only submit one gallery per day. NOTE: Although this can vary - more on this below.
	Submit your gallery only once.
	Use a maximum of two ads per page.
	Check you have the LATEST version of the required recip link.
	Validate your HTML code and check your page in different browsers.
	Ask for a review (before submitting) on one of the webmaster help boards.
	Use a maximum of three recips per page.
	Try to use fresh, unique content.
	Use a table to arrange recips neatly.
	Run Xenu on your pages to check for links that don't work - even if you're CONFIDENT everything is working.
	Write an accurate description.
	Check what's already listed at the TGP before you submit.
	Submit by hand (or use GASS and Roboform) - NEVER an auto submitter.
	Become a 'trusted submitter' wherever possible.
	Use a real domain name, not a numeric IP address eg: 112.15.66.44
	Write an accurate description.

DON'T:

	Have any pop-up ads on the gallery you submit.
	Use a free host.
	Put pics on HTML pages
	Over-compress your pictures or your thumbnail images
	EVER alter anything on the page once it's been submitted.
	Alter the recip link.
	Use pop-up windows.
	Use blur / pop-under windows.
	Use free hosting.
	Use slow / unreliable hosting.
	Use thumbs which are too small.
	Use sponsor content.
	Use javascript on the TGP gallery because it can cause errors in some TGP submit page scripts.
	Blind link any thumbs.
	Move a gallery or delete it from your server.
	Use 'Next', 'More' type links on the gallery.
	Use a script to bookmark the gallery, or change the surfer's homepage.
	Open the pictures in a new browser window. (The surfer clicks a thumb and a new window is created with the pic in it).

Other considerations

Each TGP has it's own set of rules, and things can vary quite a bit from one to the next. Here's a list of some things to think about.

	Some TGPs prefer a series / sequence of pics featuring the same girl / model / scene, rather than lots of different pics.
	Sponsors: Some TGPs do not like certain sponsors. This should be stated in the rules somewhere for that TGP.
	Submission limit time. Some TGPs only like a submission every 3 days. Check the rules on each TGP carefully for this one.
